I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your respective families a wonderful holiday season. Whether you celebrate Easter or Passover, enjoy. May your holiday season be a warm and happy one. While you are far removed from family members this year, just know that this too shall pass. Also, during this difficult time know that you have the support of your classmates and colleagues. Take time to laugh and enjoy one another.
And what are your plans for the holiday? For me, I plan to take my usual walk in Verona Park, walk around my apartment, drive to Connecticut and take part in a neighborhood six-feet apart walk with my son and his family. Looking forward to a nice day with nice weather.
Perhaps you would like to share your Easter/Passover activities with your classmates. And finally, let us know how you are doing now that we have been quarantined for several weeks? er
My family's celebration for Easter was definitely a lot different from how we normally spend the Holiday. Some of my family's traditions remained the same, my mom always makes a special breakfast for all of us and of course we still had Easter basket goodies. It was weird watching Easter Mass on a Facebook live-stream. However, the homily the Priest gave was very uplifting, and it gave me hope that this will hopefully end soon. Another way my family celebrated was that we had a quick family Zoom meeting with my extended family. I have a lot of cousins, Aunts, and uncles, so it was good to "see" all of them and catch up with them. Additionally, my grandma was able to be on the call and it really made her happy to see everyone. Although this can be a really isolating time, my goal is to remain positive and get started on projects that I have not been able to start yet.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Happy Passover/Easter Everyone!
